Ms. Rizer and Ms. Herenda combined classes for a final book club project, where students used a paper bag to visually display their analysis of various aspects of the book. They redesigned the cover, expanded on a significant quote, rated the book, provided a synopsis, and created symbolic objects that represented character, conflict, and theme. They then presented their information to a class of 40 students.

Students in Mrs. Rizer’s language arts class creatively performed as characters from their summer reading books in a “Wax Museum.” Students gave first person accounts of the story’s plot, character development, and themes.

grade 7 students Ms Lee's class shows us the greatest tool in education is a calm & open mind. In order to effectively communicate one must be mentally prepared with a clear mind.
