NJDOE Perkins Program

NJDOE Perkins Program

The Perkins Program is dedicated to increasing learner access to high-quality CTE programs of study with a focus on program improvement; alignment across K-12, postsecondary and workforce; and economic development. Perkins V is critical to ensuring programs meet the ever-changing needs of learners and employers.

Two online surveys were made available for parents/families and students on the NJDOE homepage and on the Office of Career Readiness Perkins webpage. The data collected from these surveys will inform the NJ’s Perkins V State Plan and will help fulfill NJ CTE’s mission to, “support schools and districts to ensure all New Jersey students have equitable access to high-quality career and technical education to achieve academic and career success.”

The surveys are currently open on the website and will close on September 13, 2019.  Please forward the survey link information below to parents/families and students via school district communication (newsletter, website, classroom teachers, Facebook, twitter, etc.):

Please contact the Office of Career Readiness at 609-376-9067 or email PerkinsV@doe.nj.gov if you have any questions.
